Essential Oils are listed as bold italic. A | B | C | D | E | G | J | L | M | P | R | S | T | V | W | Z Algae Extract: Rich in essential amino acids, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Helps regulate cellular metabolism and activates protein synthesis. Ideal for firming and revitalizing skin. Aloe Vera: Aloe Vera is used for its anti-inflammatory properties, and burn healing effects. Aloe Vera has more than 200 biologically active agents. Some include polysaccharides, phytosterols, glycerol, vitamins E, B & C and zinc. Anacystis Nidulans: An algae extract offering UV resistance. Arrowroot powder: The dried root of the arrowroot plant. Absorbs moisture. Gentle on skin. Artemia Salina: An anti-aging algae extract. Artemia Salina Plankton: Re-awakens skin cells providing luminous tone. Beeswax: Used for its binding properties in our balms and is an excellent emollient, giving skin a protective barrier. Bio-Fermented Bamboo: Derived from the Asian Bamboo plant known to help skin appear smoother, firmer and younger looking. Black Soap Extract: A natural vegetable based deep cleanser used to beautify, heal, protect and maintain skin from harsh environmental conditions. Gently exfoliates dead skin cells and encourages new cell growth evening skin tone. Borage Seed Oil: This oil is cold pressed from the seeds of the borage plant ( it has blue, star-shaped flowers). A rich source of GLA (gamma linolenic acid)—an Omega-6 fatty acid.  Great for treatment of many skin conditions. Calcium: anti-inflammatory and absorbent. Centella Extract: derived from the centella herb.  Used to boost circulation, improve the collagen foundation of the skin, and fight oxidation. Cetearyl Glucoside: A naturally derived compound of glucose and cetearyl alcohol. It helps skin retain natural moisture. Citric Acid: Natural preservative derived from fruit. Citric Seed Extract: Natural preservative and antiseptic. Cocoa Butter: Leaves a protective barrier on the skin, and is a gentle moisturizer. Well known for keeping skin supple and helping prevent or reduce stretch marks/scars. Rich in anti-oxidants. Corn Starch: Environmentally friendly starch made from corn. Cypress Essential Oil:  Used for its’ antiseptic properties.  Leaves you feeling mentally and physically refreshed. Decyl glucoside: A mild plant derived cleanser for sensitive skin. Biodegradable. Dimethicone: A silicone substance derived from silica (sand is a silica) giving a silk feeling on the skin…a softness that holds up well, even when skin becomes wet. It traps moisture to the upper layers of skin. Emu oil: A rich natural moisturizer aiding in cell regeneration. High Omega-3 and Omega-6 essential fatty acids. Non-comedogenic (meaning it won’t clog pores). A natural anti-inflammatory. Deep penetrating trans-dermal carrier, penetrates quickly. Hypoallergenic. Anti-aging. Evening Primrose Oil: A natural source of the essential fatty acid, Gamma Linolenic Acid, which is needed by the body. It is used to promote smooth skin and to treat atopic eczema. Grapefruit Essential Oil: A refreshing essence. Antiseptic. Grapeseed Oil: Derived from the small seeds of red grapes rich in flavonoids—phytochemicals—that have antioxidant properties. Antioxidants protect our cells against oxidative damage, can reduce the risk of developing certain types of cancer and prevent numerous ailments. Jojoba oil: A vegetable oil obtained from the crushed bean of the jojoba shrub. An effective cleanser, conditioner, moisturizer, and softener for the skin and hair. This oil is very similar to the oil naturally produced by the human body. Juniper Essential Oil:  Juniper essential oil is used for its’ antiseptic properties.  It also aids in retaining the fluids in the body for hydrated skin. Laminaria Algae: Derived from seaweed, this algae rematerializes, repairs, and moisturizes skin. Lavender Essential Oil:  Sweet calming essence. Antiseptic. Linoleic Acid: An unsaturated Omega-6 fatty acid organically found in vegetable oils. Lithothamnium Algae: A red algae that  is used to prevent cellular turnover. Manganese: Natural strong absorbent properties and some disinfecting properties. Mango Butter: Natural emollient properties. Soothes, softens and moisturizes skin. Restores flexibility and reduces degeneration of skin cells. It has a natural protective effect against UV radiation. Peppermint Essential Oil: Refreshing minty fragrance to invigorate senses. Antiseptic. Phenoxyethanol: An organic compound used for the gentle preservative properties. Non-irritating. Pine Essential Oil: Used for its’ antiseptic properties. It balances, smoothes, renews skin. And calms itching and any burning feeling. Polypeptides of Copper: Long proteins that tone and firm skin. Polysorbate 60: An emulsifier derived from palm oil enabling essential oils to mix with water. Purified Water: To hydrate skin. Rosemary Essential Oil: Used for its’ antiseptic properties. It also helps tighten skin while encouraging dry skin to produce its own moisture. Sage Essential Oil: Used for its’ antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.  The anti oxidants capture free radicals. Shea Butter: A natural fat extracted from the fruit of the shea tree. Used for its’ ultra-moisturizing  properties as an emollient and natural ultraviolet sun protection. Shea butter absorbs rapidly into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling. Soy Wax: A solid wax made of hydrogenated soybean oil. A protein-rich emollient, high in essential fatty acids necessary for beautiful glowing skin. This wax is a vegan alternative to beeswax. Spirulina Algae: Anti-oxidant & chorophil. Microscopic blue-green algae that exists as a single celled organism turning sunlight into life energy. Squalane: Derived from olive oil to restore moisture supporting anti-aging. Tangerine Essential Oil: A Cheery scent. Smooths skin. Antiseptic. Tea Tree Essential Oil: Distilled from the leaves of the plant, Tea Tree contains four substances that do not occur anywhere else in nature. It is the most antiseptic of all oils. Vitamin C:  An antioxidant superstar.  Increases the skin’s ability to neutralize free-radical damage created by ultraviolet radiation preventing photo damage to the skin.
